Noble Action On Earth Day!

Interesting news on the Earth Day celebrations was the official announcement of donating a 300-acre island, called Petty’s Island near the Delaware River to New Jersey. Originally the island was bought with the idea of storing fuel, by Citgo Petroleum Corporation in Venezuela. The Island had become a dwelling place for various birds like eagles, small falcons and freshwater birds, which is the reason for donation and thus restoring nature. A huge fund has been created to preserve the natural environment in the island. A tailpiece of information is that this island is a part of Pennsauken Township in New Jersey.
